I’m starting a new feature where I’ll be choosing a celebrity whose makeup style I love and share a few images of my favorite looks worn by her. This is a Sunday feature, hope you enjoy it! During the course of the week, I’ll also be doing a tutorial inspired by the celebrity’s style. This week’s feature on Celebrity Makeup Files is British Singer Adele who has been in the news recently for her whooping 6 Grammy awards! She is also on the cover on the Vogue March 2012 issue and she looks gorgeous!
I personally love Adele’s makeup style- the signature contoured cat eye with luscious lashes, the matte lips and the contoured face. She sports the eye makeup with a natural as well as with an intense red lip in the photos for Vogue. She has a lovely peaches and cream complexion that contrasts beautifully with the stark black liner and rich red lipstick she wears often. The lipstick reminds me of Illamasqua lipstick in Sangers.
She seems to be a fan of matte makeup and she wears it beautifully! The waterline is always bare/lined with a flesh toned liner which gives her eyes a wider, more open look, there is a bit of brown eye shadow smudged on the lower lash line to give some definition.The extended jet black liner and longer lashes at the ends further define the shape of her eye. False lashes with smaller inner lashes and extended outer lashes are the best to achieve the Adele look.
